Sales Operations Manager

Muck Rack's PR software and solutions enable communications professionals to build and maintain meaningful relationships with journalists, monitor the media, quantify their impact and work together more efficiently as their team.

We’re looking for an organized, analytical and diligent Sales Operations Manager to build, refine and scale our sales processes and workflows using technology, creativity, experience and a whole lot of data.

Reporting to our Chief Operating Officer, the Sales Operations Manager will work with the sales and account management teams to drive the growth, profitability and productivity of our fast-growing, B2B SaaS revenue organization.

Responsibilities include

  • Help our sales team work more efficiently by identifying and eliminating sales process bottlenecks
  • Own, develop and execute the day-day configuration, training, support, documentation, maintenance and overall improvement of our CRM (Hubspot) for the sales and account management teams
  • Perform thoughtful, accurate, and actionable analysis of sales/account management activities, forecast, revenue and other performance metrics
  • Own measurement and communication of sales funnel and operational metrics to the business, delivering regular updates and insights
  • Refine customer segmentation and vertical/territory management
  • Review and enhance renewal and upsell processes
  • Collaborate with sales management and finance to develop sales compensation plans and incentives
  • Stay up to date with new technologies on the market (especially Hubspot releases!)

Preferred skills and interests

  • 2+ years in a sales or marketing operations role
  • Hubspot experience for at least Marketing Automation preferred (certifications even better)
  • Metrics driven, and extremely proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Data driven with high attention to detail and obsession with accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task across many different projects
  • Experience working at a fast-growing SaaS company preferred but not required
