Sales Administrative Assistant

Muck Rack is the leading software platform for public relations and communications executives. We are looking for an ambitious Sales Administrative Assistant to join our fast-growing tech startup in NYC. Our mission is to make journalists, PR pros and marketers more successful by providing them with the technology they need to find journalists to pitch, and monitor their brand on a day-to-day basis via our Muck Rack advanced service.

The Sales Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Chief Operating Officer, sales and account management teams to make sure day to day operations and tasks run smoothly.

Responsibilities include

  • Managing the sales and customer food and travel budget and expenses
  • Coordinating internal team meetings and one on ones
  • Coordinating and booking national and international travel across the team
  • Coordinating interviews with future sales and account management related hiring
  • Assisting Account Management with quarterly catch-up calendar
  • Coordinating calendars and meeting for the COO, sales and account management teams
  • Organize training material for sales team including live demo recordings
  • Overseeing sale reps' emails when team members are off the grid
  • Booking catering and meals for in-person product demos

Preferred skills and interests

  • 1-2 years having worked as an administrative assistant before
  • Proficient in Dropbox, Google Apps, Slack, HubSpot, Trello
  • Understanding the nuances of scheduling meetings across multiple people with complicated schedules
  • Interested in exploring a career in sales or sales operations
  • Sharing lots of animated GIFs
  • Ability to multi-task across many different projects
