Account Coordinator

Help the world's most interesting brands and biggest PR agencies use Muck Rack, our SaaS software platform for engaging with journalists, monitoring news and tracking coverage. We’re looking for an Account Coordinator to support Muck Rack’s Enterprise Account Manager (EAM), who is in charge of our biggest customers. As an account coordinator, you will support the EAM as we work to grow them and further build relationships. You should be excited about working in a fast-paced environment where you are eager to help with all the details that go into supporting a successful customer.

Muck Rack is the leading software platform for public relations and communications executives. Our mission is to make journalists, PR pros and marketers more successful by providing them with the technology they need to find journalists to pitch, monitor media, quantify their impact and work together with their team.

In this position, you will also work closely with the sales, customer success and product teams within the company. We’re a fast growing startup, so you’ll be able to gain a lot of essential skills that will pave the way for an exciting career working with customers at a software company.

Responsibilities include

  • Helping prepare for in-person visits with customers
  • Drafting and finalizing paperwork for customer renewals and expansions
  • Scheduling, coordinating and confirming meetings and quarterly reviews with customers
  • Eventually handling demos, calls and meetings for smaller accounts within the Enterprise Account Manager’s book of business
  • Proactively researching, identifying and suggesting upsell growth opportunity
  • Supporting the Enterprise Account Manager when unavailable to answer customer requests
  • Keeping information organized in our sales CRM when necessary
  • Supporting the Enterprise Account Manager in hitting a net renewal goal

Preferred skills and interests

  • Knowledge of the PR, communications and/or journalism industries (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in an administrative or coordinator role
  • Extremely detail oriented and ability to navigate different types of internal processes
  • Experience scheduling small and large meetings (both in person and remote)
  • 0-2 years experience working on a customer-facing team preferably at an enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform
  • Comfortable calling customers when needed, attending group presentations and attending select customer meetings with Enterprise Account Manager
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines with minimal guidance
  • A hunger to begin a fulfilling career in Account Management
  • Dropbox, Trello, Google Apps, CRMs, Slack, Hubspot
  • Sharing lots of animated GIFs
  • Using the latest and greatest mobile and web apps
